Biography

Mr. Megerian has been named to Charlotte Magazine's list of North Carolina Super Lawyers for many years. He has also been included in the Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of DWI/DUI law since 2010. Since 1994, LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell has consistently recognized Mr. Megerian as an AV Preeminent Attorney, the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethical conduct.

In September 2018 Mr. Megerian and his law partner Franklin Wells were the joint recipients of the J. Kirk Osborne Award for "fierce advocacy and unwavering commitment" to the defense of men and women facing the death penalty, presented by the North Carolina Center for Death Penalty Litigation.
